The ESD Okayama Award, which recognizes outstanding ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) activities around the world, is now open for applications.<\/p>\n

Okayama City, Japan and the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board\u203b are calling for initiatives that contribute to the spread of ESD in local communities around the world and serve as models of good practice.\u00a0 Projects that educate and develop people to learn from each other and take actions to create a sustainable society from various perspectives, such as environmental protection, community development, inheritance of traditional culture, diversity and inclusion, and more, are welcome.<\/p>\n

ESD projects that have been implemented for more than 2 years by organizations anywhere in the world<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Award Ceremony<\/dt>\n
One representative of the organization(s) implementing the winning project(s) will be invited to attend the ESD Okayama Award 2025 Ceremony in Okayama, Japan and will be asked to make a presentation about the project.\u00a0 The Award Ceremony, scheduled for 21 October 2025 (Tuesday), will be held in conjunction with the 14th Global RCE Conference in Okayama City (hosted by the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability, Okayama City, and the Okayama ESD Promotion Commission).<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
