UNESCO WEEK 2023 (JFY2023)
As the secretariat for the UNESCO Future Co-creation Platform, we have sought to create a joint platform for the UNESCO-related activities based in Japan, thereby connecting stakeholders of diverse backgrounds, communities, and generations.
In February 2023, we organised the UNESCO Week 2023 as part of this effort and as an opportunity to strategically disseminate the results of UNESCO activities in Japan and abroad. A wide range of attendees participated in the event, including but not limited to young people who wish to deepen their knowledge of UNESCO and UNESCO-related activities, stakeholders overseeing or managing local initiatives, as well as practitioners striving to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through collaborative partnerships. Additionally, there were various thematic associated events organiesd.
