【IRCI】Call for Collaborators to Conduct Case Studies on ICH and Ecosystems

International Research Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region (IRCI) is currently calling for collaborators to conduct case studies for its new project ‘Research on ICH Contributing to SDGs: Intangible Cultural Heritage and Ecosystems’ starting in April 2026.

The case study will be conducted on practical initiatives for safeguarding landscapes recognized for natural heritage or protected ecosystems (including UNESCO-designated sites such as Biosphere reserves and Geoparks). It should be also a collaborative effort with local communities in the Asia-Pacific region to safeguard their natural heritage by mobilizing intangible cultural heritage (ICH).
